Which Party Wall Document Do I Need In England And Wales?
Most party wall projects start with the correct statutory notice under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996. A new wall at the boundary usually needs a section 1 line of junction notice; work to an existing party wall usually needs a section 2 party structure notice; and excavation close to a neighbour usually needs a section 6 notice.
